What is Goodie?

We deliver nutritionist-designed, pre-packaged, 100% organic recipes and ingredients for home smoothies. Our boxes are delivered weekly, and include all the ingredients you’ll need, including superfoods, and information on how to get the most our of your nutritionaly optimized Goodie box.

What is Goodie all about?

Goodie is about doing good.  We do good for your body, by providing you the delicious resources to optimize your health and thrive.  And we do good for our community, with social partnerships like our work with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, where for each Goodie box delivered we donate a meal to a family in need. Our primary philosophy is that through better nutrition, we live better lives, and can achieve our true potential. We do this by providing personalized, unique, and delicious nutritionist-designed smoothie recipes and ingredients. Our produce is 100% organic, and our all natural superfoods and bonus ingredients are designed to give you optimal nutrition and help you live the Goodie life.

Is this a subscription? 

Yes. Goodie delivers a new box with different recipes weekly. Your account is automatically renewed each week. You can pause or cancel anytime.

What do I get in a box? 

We pack each box with all the “Goodies” you need to make a week’s worth of smoothies.  This includes 100% organic, fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as bonus ingredients such as nuts, nut butters, almond milks, coconut water, and a range of superfoods like chia, cacao, lucuma, and açaí just to name a few.  Each nutritionist-designed recipe is explained on a recipe card, featuring useful nutrition info, and highlights of key ingredients and their specific benefits.  

Do I pick my own recipes? 

You select a box optimized for your personal health goals, and we send a selection of nutritionist-designed recipes for each delivery. These recipes change weekly, so while you always get the specialized health benefits, your tastebuds get variety!

When do you deliver? 

We deliver a fresh box each week on Tuesday.
How and when should I drink my smoothies?
While our recommended, nutritionist-designed recipe system is created with a specific purpose and benefit in mind, the natural ingredients are great for you any time of day. Drink to start your day as breakfast, as a meal replacement, an afternoon snack, or a healthy dessert.

Delivery

What comes with each box?

You’ll receive recipe packs for five unique smoothies, with two 12 oz. servings per pack. We pack each box with all the “Goodies” you need to make a week’s worth of smoothies.  This includes 100% organic, fresh fruits and vegetables, as bonus ingredients such as nuts, nut butters, almond milks, coconut water, and a range of superfoods like chia, cacao, lucuma, and açaí to name a few.  Each nutritionist-designed recipe is explained on a recipe card, featuring useful nutrition info, and highlights of key ingredients and their specific benefits.

Where do you deliver?

We offer delivery to three states, California, Arizona, and Nevada. When you go through the signup process, our website will doublechecks your zip code before you enter your credit card.  If you’re currently out of our delivery zone, never fear!  We’ll be expanding to your area soon, and you can leave your email and ZIP code so we’ll know when and where to notify you.

Can I change delivery to a different day of the week?

We currently only offer delivery on one day of the week, Tuesday, but we’ll be sure to give you a heads up when more days are added in the future.

Can I change my delivery schedule if I don’t want a delivery each week?

Of course! We make skipping a delivery as easy as two clicks. Once you are logged into your Goodie account, simply select “Your Subscription” under the account settings section. From there you can manage your subscription on the calendar with the click of a button.

Do I need to pay extra for shipping?

Nope! The price you see on the website is the full price inclusive of shipping. We want to make the experience as easy as possible, so we don’t surprise you with extra shipping fees.

The Food

Where does the produce come from?

Goodie believes in the benefits of sourcing locally from sustainable farms in the area. Whenever possible, our produce is sourced from certified organic farms in the Southern California region. Some ingredients aren’t available locally, and must be sourced from further away, however we try to stay as local as possible. To further reduce our carbon footprint, we try to minimize shipping and distribution as much as possible with a three-step system that goes from farm to fulfillment center to your door.

What equipment do I need at home?

All you need is a blender, water, and ice! Your Goodie box comes with everything else you’ll need to make our delicious, nutrient-packed recipes.

Can I choose which recipes come in my box?

While we don’t offer custom recipe ordering at the moment, we strive to always deliver boxes with recipes you’ll love. As recipes are changed weekly, variety in flavor and nutritional balance is guaranteed. We are always open to feedback, and would love to hear what you think about specific recipes.

Do I need to wash or peel the produce?

All of our produce comes pre-washed, but it’s always a good idea to give it a quick rinse before making your smoothie. Produce that you would normally peel (oranges, etc.) should be peeled prior to juicing, and some other ingredients require some minor prep. Don’t worry, though! All boxes come with recipes sheets and instructions to help guide you in your smoothie creations.  Feel free to send any questions about the process to support@wearegoodie.com.

Can I substitute recipe options?

We currently don’t offer recipe substitutions, however we always like to hear your feedback about recipes you’ve received or suggestions for recipes in the future. We love to incorporate new ideas and ingredients, so feel free to send us your thoughts!

About your Account

When do you charge my credit card?

We charge your first delivery immediately when you sign up for the service. All following deliveries are charged the Sunday before delivery. Due to ingredient sourcing if you need to pause a week or cancel a delivery you must do so by 5pm PST, the Wednesday before your delivery. 

How do I cancel my subscription?

While we hate to see you go, canceling your subscription is super easy. Simply shoot us an email at support@wearegoodie.com notifying us when you’d like to cancel your subscription and we’ll take care of it from there.
